[edit] Summary

This plaque is located in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. It commemorates the work of James Paris Lee and his brother John Lee in developing a bolt-action rifle with a box magazine that pre-dates the Lee-Enfield Rifle. The plaque is located in the approximate location to where it is believe the first shots were fired across the Sydenham River.
